I've an outdoor Jade plant that stands around 10 - 11 ft tall. Is there anyway I can tell its age b

Hey Sophie,
Since I was young there have been Jade plants in various yards, homes of mine and friends. I never saw one 10 to 11 feet tall, but one in California was about 5 feet tall and only 8 years old. They grow fantastic in the right circumstance.
If the Jade was never pruned, then the nodes give growth patterns for each year. you can count the nodes going up the tree. There is a section in the Clemson course that describes that.
The second site below describes a person with an heirloom Jade plant over 40 years old. I am older than that, and the one we had in California is probably still alive.
I guess yours is over 50 years old because of the height.
