extends up. The leaves grow up from the trunk and as they grow they curl downward to over 12 inches long. The leaves are light to medium green and about 1/2 in across. As they die they fall off the trunk, making the trunk longer. I would like to know what kind of plant this is so I can take care of it better. It seems to be dormant in the winter, and as soon as spring comes, new leaves start coming up.

The plant stands about 1.2m high and has a broad leaf at the end of two thick stems. One of the stems is directly growing out of the base of the other, very close to the ground. During the night, the plant emits water from its leafs. I have no clue on any common names.

It stands about two feet tall, and about two feet around. It was green all winter long. It's planted in gravel. It will get full afternoon sun and proably only watered by God.

We're doing this task in our business class and there is this pot plant stand that looks a bit like a ladder. It is very compact compared to other pot plant stands and cheap as well. What do you think is a good name??
